cashier is polite and friendly, with bright smile. Interior seats are all occupied, but there are seats for Starbucks customer outside

Try to be patience here as people here especially school kids will just block everyone. You need to be very vocal at times.

The staff may be new but the baristas are clearly working at a leisurely pace and inefficiently while the orders increase. Be prepared to wait a while.

New store (opened Sep 19/13) so they're still getting used to everything. Get ready for long lines and slow service.
