A charming museum of fans! They also serve great value afternoon tea (although no savoury options).

Always make sure to visit the new exhibitions, changing just about every four months! Currently, "hatch, match, and despatch" exhibition is on, displaying even more beautiful and elegant fans!

A gem of a museum tucked away in a quiet Greenwich neighbourhood. This gallery is packed full of beautiful artwork on small, folded panels instead of stretched-out canvases. http://bitly.com/XIndXk

29 January: The world's only museum dedicated purely to fans, there is also an Orangery overlooking a secret fan-shaped formal garden with a pond, stream and oriental architectural features.

The Fan Museum has an elegant, 18th century interior displaying more than 4,000 fans dating back 1,000 years. The charming orangery also serves a fantastic afternoon tea.

The world’s only museum dedicated to fans. It’s a tiny space consisting of two rooms with an overall collection of 3,500 antique fans, some of which date as far back as the eleventh century.
