During monsoon season (norther hemisphere summer) the villa is not crowded. Ask for in upgrade to the larger rooms on either side of the villa.

Last time I was here was before the Tsunami. Renovation seem to have refreshed much of interior & fittings so despite its age it looks well maintained. Used too much concrete, probably cost effective.

Stilt fishermen come to the beach just outside of Apa Villa Thalpe. Snap photos of them before 9am.
