Plan to spend at least a couple of hours, and definitely tour with one of the Docents. There are a ton of wonderful exhibits to see. The food in the tavern is pretty good too - try the fried pickles

The museum uses all the best in modern techniques to make you learn and almost experience history. The tableau of Marines facing Mao's army on the next ridge in Korea almost takes you there in 1950.

The museum itself is laid out kinda weird and confusing, but it's still really cool. For $10 you can hit an indoor shooting range; get 100% and get a discount for the diner on site.

Gr8 infrastructure... lot of activities for kid... time well spent for kids...
