It's lost its appeal since it changed from The Heron's Nest; the menu is a little bland and the prices have increased. It's posher than it used to be, too.

Re-opened after a refurb in April 25 and renamed 'The King's Arms'. It was the venue's original name and sits next to The King's Arms Bridge.

Great location by the canal. Great food and beer (doom bar - a long way frm Cornwell). Also an Innkeepers Inn so good value accommodation in a nice pub.

Glorious Turkey & Stuffing roast! Did just the trick for my hangover. Also, the waitress we had was a little gem.
