We rented scooters in Hanoi and made the 2.5 hour ride to Tam Coc. Think Halong Bay but instead of water, it's rice fields. Nice little getaway from the city

Friendly place to stay in the middle of the rice fields, a bit out of town but makes for a nice stroll :) take a flashlight/light on your phone if you are walking back in the evening.

Very quiet place away from the tourist center, be sure to memories way to get there before leaving.
