Only nude bathing onsen complex in Chihpen for visitors open 7-11 and 14-24.Go up directly to 2nd floor and pay NT$350.Buses from Taitung can stop at Qingjue Temple for NT$61.Then walk up steep road.

One of the best hotels in Chihpen and probably around Taiwan. Quality accommodation with facilities and supreme food. Oh did I mention they have spa and cultural activities?

Fairly standard spa resort. Nightly aboriginal stage show 8:30-9:15 pm. Make sure to use the archery range, which is open 9-10:30 am and 3-4 pm.

They offer a great aboriginal dance show coupled with modern music to break up the monotony. The Japanese hot springs are great, too. Just be prepared to go in naked.

If you want to bathe in peace, go between 830-915 pm during the nightly show. but only if you've already seen it once!
