We ate the salmon, one "normal" and one smoked: they were both good and tasty, but I preferred my smoked one! We drank a pale ale pint, all served with kindness and sympathy! Good pub!

Nice room ive been put up in. Couldnt ask for more. Good bar with a nice ambiance. I recommend it for anyone who needs a nights rest before or after you start or finish your JOGLE/LEJOG journey.

I hate to be so negative, but I heartily recommend you go elsewhere. The accommodation that I have is ghastly, the food little better.

Potato must be fish in this part of the world because there's a great deal more evidence of it than actual fish in this poor fish pie.

The annex across the road is unspeakably awful. The main building is little better.
