Poor, very poor. Tired, dirty, above a noisy club. Room not always cleaned, and when it is it's not to any standard. Breakfast in a box. At best, a place to flop on a boozy weekend. Not going back.

Room 101 receives signal from the free wifi in the bar area.

Worst bed I've ever slept on. Had to us the duvet as a topper. Bar/restaurant staff were extremely helpful & friendly.

If you're looking for a great place to enjoy some good food, walk away from st Marys Street and look for dizzy llama on Churchill Way. Don't forget to check in for 10%discount on the a la carte menu.

It is what it is. You're on the main strip of Cardiff, right next door to The Walkabout, so it's going to be noisy, but it's a cheap bed for the night.

Unless you plan on being out until the early hours of the morning, choose a room at the rear of the hotel on the second or third floors. It's quieter that way.
