Lots of beach areas for dogs. Well-tended. Ice skating when cold enough. It can get pretty windy, so dress appropriately.

Amazing place for a run or to ride a bike. See tons of kite fliers in the area too. There's a concession stand around but I'm not sure what they're hours of operation are
