Great beach for body surfing and snorkeling. Saw whales and a huge turtle in just a short amount of time in the water.

always a busy beach-ISH area...not much sand, but always lots of sun(: get here early to get a spot before you're stuck standing under the trees

Check it out for the novelty of the black sand but it hardly qualifies as beach. You can't even see the sand during high tide.

Saw 5 turtles just in the cove area, visibility probably 15-20 ft. Beautiful. Not much of a beach, 2 entry points, but it's a great park, not crowded at all.
