Acho bom que vc encontra máquinas de café espalhadas pelos terminais. Num país mais voltado ao consumo de chá, isso faz toda a diferença pra quem gosta de café.

Nice small airport. Carrier neutral ticketing counter is easy and didn't even check the weight of my bag. Spoke good enough English. Sit on the orange and brown chairs before entering security

RMB160-170 taxi fare from airport to Wulingyuan Pullman Hotel. Less than RMB15 by bus from airport to central station, then minibus to Wulingyuan.

Take the bus from the airport: use Google Maps, and select 'public transport'. Works for China. You will be amazed how handy this is. But, Google Maps works only outside of China, so prepare before.

If you know the location of your hotel: take the bus instead of a taxi. Only 1 RMB (cash, no change available), line 4 goes to the central bus station of Zhangjiajie, every 10 minutes, 53 minutes.

The taxis don't use the taximeter in Zhangjiajie! Call the hotel to make the price for you. It should be not more than 150,- RMB to WulingYuan - prices start at 380,- RMB!

Horrible Taxi drivers ask for 150 RMB for the short journey into the city. If you know where you hotel or hostel is then take the bus. Just outside the airport, bus 4 goes into the city for 2 RMB.
