Make sure you're in the right car for your stop. Sometimes the conductor will punch your ticket and not tell you you're in the wrong car.

Use the ticket machine on the platform not the one on the elevated bridge. The machine on the platform has many more purchase options and prices not just daily tickets

Great place to watch trains as you have two Metro-North lines that merge here. Note: Only the Harlem Line (Blue) trains stop here, New Haven Line (Red) trains bypass this station.
